So... I am sitting at work wearing a corset.

I've spent the past two days at my mother's house in Wheaton, keeping my sister company and making sure she wakes up to get to school while mom and Dan are out of town.

I wore my new corset to the Naglfar/Dark Funeral concert last night with Nikki. (Awesome show by the way.) I stopped by home after work to get my concert clothes, check on my cats and such.

Well we go to the concert! Fun is had! Corset is uncomfortable! Yay!

Nikki drops me off at my mother's. I turn in for the night.

I wake up this morning on the futon in their patio/computer room and look around blearily, after only 5 hours of sleep. Jessi is up and at em and leaves on time.

I'm putzing around, getting ready for work when I make a realization...

I left my bra at home last night. MY home. All the way in Gaithersburg. As you know, I'm a large woman. Large women do not get away with going braless. Ever. Never. Gross!

I have two options.

1. Call out of work sick. (AKA cough into the phone and lie.)
2. Wear the corset to work.

I decided to wear it to work. I get on my skirt and the corset. I unlace it a bit so it's not as tight. Perfect! And I look a bit thinner too.

I put on the shirt I brought with me Tuesday night to wear today.

OH. MY. GOD. The thin material of the shirt while veiling skin and bra, does NOTHING to hide the fact that there is a bright, glaring white strapless corset under my shirt, pushing my boobs up into oblivion. It's not low cut, but it was still a little deviant to wear that shirt with that the corset.

So I call my mother and explain and ask to borrow a shirt. She points me to her closet, which I've already rifled through. I found one. It still looks funny, but it's a little baggier so it's no where near as noticable.

Still. I never want to wear this to work again.
